Biography

Yann Legendre is an internationally recognised illustrator.
His illustrations have appeared in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, among more than 50 other publications.
He has worked regularly for Janus Films, Universal Music, Blue Note, The Criterion Collection, CB2 and many publishers. His work has been exhibited all across the world, including the United States, France, Japan and Italy. Recently, he received the Gold Medal at the 3x3 Professional Show in New York along with the Gold Pencil at the One Show. His most recent illustrated books include “Grimm’s Fairy Tales” published by Rockport, stories written by the brothers Grimm and “Couture Conversations”, written by Pamela Golbin and published by Rizzoli.
He is a member of the Society of Illustrators, in New York.
