Chris Skinner is an illustrator based in the UK. With a BA Hons in Transportation Design and an HND in Three Dimensional Studies, has over 17 years experience in the design industry starting out as a Junior and quickly working his way up to Head of Design. He has worked for a variety of companies across a range of sectors and media, including interactive, broadcast, motion graphics and print. For the last 10 years Chris has worked as a freelancer and has focussed on illustration work.
Chris uses a mixture of techniques in his illustration work including traditional media, 2D digital, 3D modelling and digital sculpting. He also works with motion graphics using 3D and 2D techniques to create style frames and videos.
Chris is well known for capturing perspective and a high level of detail in his illustrations. His work comprises of a mixture of 3D modelling and hand drawn elements, which blend together to create his distinctive style.
Previous clients include: Marvel, DC Comics, 20th Century Fox, Studio Canal, BBC, Ubisoft, Universal, 2waytraffic, Mondo, Acme Archives, Marks & Spencer and ASDA. Chris also regularly exhibits art in pop culture galleries across America, and his limited edition screen prints are highly sought after.
