Now based in Brooklyn, seminal UK artist Jon Burgerman has been working closely with his neighbours Factory Fresh, Bushwick on this mural as part of the 2011 Pictoplasma New York City Festival.
Bushwick is an industrial area of Brooklyn that over the last few years has become the preferred haunt of young artists and galleries. Slowly it's being transformed into the epicentre of arts scene.
Jon's intention for the piece was to create a painting that you could walk into.
Jon has also recently been commissioned by FABnyc’s ArtUp Program to paint a floor piece next door to the Bowery at 'Extra Place'. For more info click here.
If you want to see it go to.... Factory Fresh, 1053 Flushing Ave, Brooklyn, NYC.
Jon Burgerman is now based in New York and is keen to work on local (US based) commissions/murals. Or, if you'd like to meet him let us know and we can arrange for him to drop by.
