Reporters Without Borders
Born in 1979, Bartosz Kosowski is an illustrator and poster artist based in Lodz, Poland. He was educated at Strzeminski Academy of Fine Arts and Design where he studied woodcut, etching, mezzotint, lithography and other traditional printmaking techniques. For the last thirteen years he has been creating award winning posters, editorial illustrations and portraits and has cooperated with such clients as Apple, Netflix, Legendary Pictures, Canal+, Campari, Bank of America, Washington Post Branding Studio "The New Yorker", "The Economist" "The New Republic", "The Hollywood Reporter", "Smithsonian", “Monocle”, "Chicago Magazine", “Politico” and “Newsweek”. He has received three gold medals from Society of Illustrators New York and Los Angeles, a Gold Award from Spectrum and two Bronze European Design Awards. His works have been selected and awarded by American Illustration, World Illustration Awards, 3x3, Graphis, Lahti Poster Biennale and New York Festival Awards. They have also been published in Taschen’s “Illustration Now! Vol.4”, Bloomsbury’s “Illustration – A Theoretical & Contextual Perspective”, Flesk’s "Spectrum" 23, 25, 26 and 27 and Huginn & Muninn's "Total Geek Art". For the last five years he has been Adobe Design Achievement Awards mentor.
