Tim Watkins makes filtered photographic and hand drawn compositions with screen print leanings that are often intensely detailed. Tim Watkins employs a cosmic maximalist approach; the inter-connectivity of all things with anything and everything being considered for inclusion, put together with the conflicting qualities of careful consideration and carefree panache but always an urgency in keeping with both his tenacious dedication and his need for instant gratification. Tim has had a lifelong fascination with wallpaper patterns and repeated tiling and has an intrinsic understanding of tessellation.
Born in 1977 in Birmingham Tim currently resides in London.
