Yannick Desranleau and Chloe Lum are visual artists and musicians who started collaborating in 2002 under the nom de guerre Seripop. Based in Montreal, Seripop has earned international attention for its stylistically distinct, silkscreened street posters. In 2005, Lum and Desranleau began experimenting with sculptural print installations which merge notions of city politics and visual perception. Seripop have been speaking and exhibiting their work at various art institutions including Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art in Gateshead, England, Peacock Visual Arts in Aberdeen, Scotland, and the Unviersity of North Texas, Denton, USA. In addition to Seripop, Lum and Desranleau play in AIDS Wolf, a noise-rock band and Hamborghinni, a drums and electronics project.

In 2010, Seripop will be part of a important exhibition at the Kunsthalle Wien, Austria, titled 'Street and Studio: From Basquiat to Seripop'. Seripop will also be participating at the 28th Baie St. Paul International Contemporary Art Symposium.

They use a Lawson Mustang semi-auto press, Pittsburgh Paints latex acrylic as inks and prefer to print at night when no one is around.
